Events
Some works are not only published or represented; they turn into a programme and find a new response on a stage, in a hall or in an exhibition space. Sometimes that road begins with a work Lemitron represents, and sometimes with nothing but an idea, when no work yet exists.
Ensemble and cast
Orchestras, choirs and chamber ensembles are formed; soloists, conductors and performers are brought together for the project. The cast is built to the scale the work and the venue require.
Programme and repertoire
Concert, recital, opera and oratorio programmes are planned. In choosing the repertoire, the relationship between works, their duration and the requirements of the cast are weighed together; artist coordination is provided and rehearsal processes are run.
Musical preparation
Works are prepared for the forces that will perform them. Music engraving, arrangement and orchestration work is carried out; scores, orchestral and choral parts and rehearsal material are prepared specifically for the project. Where the necessary material does not exist, it is obtained at home or abroad.
Rights and agreements
Performance permissions for the works in the programme are obtained and the necessary discussions with rights holders are carried out. Agreements with composers, arrangers, soloists, conductors and performers are drawn up within the project.
Technical coordination
Venue and date coordination is provided; sound, lighting and stage layout are planned and carried out together with the relevant companies.
Funding and support
Applications for public support, foundation funds and corporate sponsorship are prepared and followed up so that projects can take place.
Promotion and publication
Programme booklets, work notes, artist biographies and credits are prepared. The event is promoted; on request, pre-concert talks and introductory programmes are arranged. Production work is carried out so that performances can be taken further through recording, broadcast and digital distribution.
Joint projects with institutions
Joint projects are developed with opera and ballet companies, symphony and municipal orchestras, choirs, universities and conservatories.
